November Bullet Journal Setup 2021

As we usher in the end of the spooky season, I am sharing my November Bullet Journal Setup 2021. I decided to go inside the box this month with a coffee theme. Coffee themes are my favourite because, as we head into winter months, it’s just so cozy and comforting for me. I created some stickers to share with you. There are some free downloads (limited time), over in the From Blank to Brilliant Library. Make sure to to sign up for my newsletter to get access to all the freebies. If that’s not for you, you can check out Shop Natasha Miller Letters to grab them as well. Over on my YouTube channel, I have my Bullet Journal Setup Video that you can check out. But otherwise, let’s get into it.

November Setup Up Favourites

This month I kind of went back to my basics. I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens for my lettering for the first time in a while. My Derwent Watercolour pencils made an appearance too! If you are curious to try watercolours, I strongly recommend trying watercolour pencils. It’s watercolour but with more control.

My favourite element of my November Bullet Journal Setup 2021 has got to be incorporating the black paper into my theme to represent chalkboards. For me, coffee, coffee shops/cafes, and chalkboards all go hand in hand. My lettered cover page is a faux-chalkboard piece, which I love. So it was fun to add those elements throughout my layouts.

My latest, most favourite supply though is hands down this habit tracker stencil from Erin Floto Design. I first bought it because it was cool and I wanted to support her (she’s amazing). But then put it away and never got around to using it. While organizing, I found it again and decided to dive in and use it. I first used it in my October Setup and loved it so much, I brought it out again for November.

For more information on how to use this stencil, you can check out Erin’s videos, or Jashii Corrin’s video is excellent too. While Erin’s primary design idea was to use this as a cleaning tracker, I have found that the different sections align perfectly with my goals. So while I have my goals in my Power Sheets Goal Planner, having them show up in my bullet journal has been so great for staying on track. So definitely check it out to see if it’ll work for you. (Just wanted to note, I am not affiliated with Erin or this product at all. I’ve just become a SUPER big fan!)

October Wrap Up

While we still have a few weeks of October left, I wanted to share some thoughts from where I am at for my October setups. I am finding the Priorities layouts aren’t quite working for me the way I have it currently setup up. I’ve kept it for November, I’m undecided what to do for December, but I know I already have some ideas for my 2022 Setup and how I want that to look.

The memory keeping aspect has fallen by the wayside a bit. I have gotten much busier and use my journal to jot stuff down, and that’s okay. It’s important that your journal works for you. If it starts to feel like a chore, go back to basics, which I feel I did for November. Kept stenciling and colours to a minimum, lettering was easy (for me) calligraphy, just basics and simple designs.

Let me know in the comments below what your theme for November will be. I love seeing everyone’s interpretations. Also, let me know if you’ve checked out Erin’s amazing stencil! I am really a HUGE fan! Lol!

Thank you so much for you time today and we’ll talk soon!
