I am sharing my January setup and I chose a cupcake theme. January is my birth month, as well as the birth month for a ton of people I love, like, and respect! January Bullet Journal Setup Layouts
I carried on my basic layouts from November and December, but I cut out my Monthly Priorities layouts. I will still be using these (new post coming next week), but in a different, more wholistic way – at least for the next 6 months.
The biggest change this month was to my calendar page. I turned it into a dutch door to help incorporate my goals and monthly to dos. This again will tie into my workflow, which I am sharing with you next week. I am so excited to share this process with you. I’ve basically taken a portion of my Notion account and adapted it for my bullet journal! But, we’ll see how it goes.
I used my most favourite habit tracker stencil again because it lines up so perfectly with my goals and objectives that I wanted to use it again. This time, I marked out the blocks, and coloured in around them. For more ideas for how you can use it, you can check out my November or December layouts. For my weekly layout, I just used my favourite horizontal layout with the Alastair Method task list. I have come to love this method so much that it’s been hard to move away from it. Honestly, it’s not working as well for me as it did at the beginning, but it’s just so quick and easy to create that it’s hard to try something else. Maybe, time permitting, I can play around with some new ideas to share with you in February.
Bring on the New Year
This past year has just been so surreal (from a professional standpoint). I can’t believe I’m in the position I’m in compared to how I started the year. I have grown my email list, followers, engagement, I’ve branched into surface pattern design, and launched a Patreon! That’s right!
